Eng. Khaled Hunaifat has more than twenty years of experience in public administration in Jordan, during which he held various positions, including Minister of Agriculture in different governments and Mayor of Tafileh for nearly ten years.

Eng. Hunaifat received a fellowship in municipal leadership from the University of Washington in 2013, and the best performance of municipal work in the International Republican Institute public poll for the year 2009. In addition to the above, Eng. Hunaifat has qualified for the Rising Stars American Transparency Award in 2010 within 80 countries.

His Majesty King Abdullah II has honored Eng. Hunaifat with The Medal of Excellence of third class for the development projects he enacted in Tafileh.

The engineer participated in many local and regional conferences in the fields of economics, management and agriculture.
