Minister for Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, Republic of Indonesia
Dr. Sofyan A. Djalil is the Republic of Indonesia’s Minister for Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning. He has a Bachelor of Law from the University of Indonesia (1984) and a Master of Arts from Tufts University, specialising in public policy (1989). Dr. Djalil has been a minister since 2004: first as the Minister for Communication and Information (2004-07), the Minister for State-Owned Enterprises (2007-09), Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (2014-15), and Ministry for National Development Planning/Head of National Development Agency (2015-16).
